“By having a luxury hotel resort like Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, we are able to attract people from all over the world,” Arceo said. The latest addition provides an opportunity for the resort to extend its reach, says general manager Peter Arceo. While other Southern California casinos have invested in providing guests a luxury experience, this year the newly renamed Yaamava’ Resort & Casino joined that mission with its new 17-story hotel tower.
Last year, the coronavirus pandemic affected Southern California casino projects by causing delays in construction projects and slowing down their usual traffic but that didn’t stop every casino from expanding.
